On the morning of November 29, 2023, the 4th International Conference on Environmental Technology and Innovations - ICETI 2023 officially opened at Ton Duc University Thang (TDTU).
The Conference took place during November 29 - 30, 2023, co-organized by 7 universities including Ton Duc Thang University, Vietnam; National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan; Cheng Shiu University, Taiwan; Thammasat University, Thailand; Universiti Sains Malaysia, Malaysia; Nagaoka University of Technology, Japan; and Hokkaido University, Japan.
The guests attending the opening session were professors co-chairing the Conference from the universities co-organizing the Conference. From TDTU, there were two members of the Presidential Board, including Dr. Vo Hoang Duy and Dr. Dong Sy Thien Chau - Vice Presidents; Dr. Dinh Hoang Bach - Director of the International Cooperation, Research and Training Institute, and leaders of several units under TDTU.
ICETI 2023 attracted the attention and participation of 60 experts, researchers, and lecturers from 9 countries around the world and more than 70 experts, researchers, lecturers, and managers at government agencies and enterprises in Vietnam. More than 40 research projects focus on 4 topics: (1) Environmental Technology and Engineering; (2) Sustainable Development and Conservation of Natural Resources; (3) Technologies for adaptation to climate change; (4) Occupational Health and Safety Engineering.
The Conference’s Science Council reviewed and selected 15 Full papers that met the requirements to be printed in the ICETI 2023 Proceedings, published in the journal IOP Conference Series: Earth and Environmental Science, by IOP Publishing Ltd., belonging to the Scopus category.
The ICETI was first held in 2016 at TDTU and organized periodically every 2 years. Up to now, it has achieved many research results and created opportunities for cooperation and academic exchange in the field of Environment & Labour Safety.
